:) 28 Weeks

Our furniture is in! We actually got the call on Friday that our nursery set is in, so Nick really needs to get his butt in gear because I want it set up by this weekend! We also booked an appointment for a 3D/4D ultra sound. I know that I have said that I wasn't going to get it done b/c I couldn't see spending the money, but I couldn't resist once Nick had mentioned that he wanted to get it done after seeing some pictures in blogs I was stalking, so I called Friday afternoon and made the appointment J Yes, I am excited, we go on the 22nd and I can’t wait! We started our registry this weekend as well, so I have been pretty productive. It was so much fun at first…and then I got frustrated, and Nick got frustrated and we didn’t finish. We went to a different Babies R Us the next day to see if maybe they had some different items, and we still aren’t finished, lol. I think I will just finish it up online, it really little things that are left like bottles and pacifiers. I don’t know what bottles to go with though since I am planning on BF’ing, so I have a little research. We are also having some difficulty with finding a stroller that we are happy with. I think we may look into the Bumbleride Indie Stroller in seagrass and the City Classic Baby Jogger in black and the B.O.B. Revolution in black, as you can see we're still confused. We had originally registered for the Baby Trend Expedition Travel System and after fighting with it to close in both stores we went to, we decided that it wasn’t such a good choice. We’ll see what we end up with hopefully sooner rather than later. My lovely boobs have been leaking like crazy the past 2 days, so I am hoping that this is a good sign that BF’ing will go semi-smooth, at least I know that producing milk shouldn’t be too hard right J Just thought I’d add that the heat index for today is over 100 degrees, it’s hotter than a whore in church here! Thankfully the ac is working great!

* How far along?: 28 weeks down, 12 to go!

* Total weight gain: I haven't stepped on a scale since my appointment 2 weeks ago. I think I'm the same, though I could be wrong :)

* How big is baby?: 2 1/4 pounds and about 15.75 inches head to toe.

* Maternity clothes?: yes.

* Stretch marks?: the one on my side is becoming more visible to me, Nick said I'm crazy, but I see it there!

* Sleep?: this week is so far better than last!

* Best moment this week?: Carter's furniture is in! We made our 3D/4D ultra sound appointment for next Saturday and we finally got to Babies R Us to register!

* Movement?: the past few days it's been mainly rolls and inner pokes, not sure if it's his position or he's running out of room or what.

* Food cravings?: the past few days it's been salad.

* Labor signs?: Nope, BH's kicked back up though.

* Belly button in or out?: flat, and the top pokes out.

* What I miss: sleep! jeans that zip and button. I can't wait to go shopping after Carter arrives!

* What I'm looking forward to: my 3D/4D ultra sound next week and getting the furniture set up in the nursery!

* Milestone: Carter can now blink his eyes, which now sport lashes. With his eyesight developing, he may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. He's also developing billions of neurons in his brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.
