Hello 2nd Tri...it's on!

Holy cow.  Where did the last 14 weeks go?!?!  Craziness.  I am feeling much better, so I plan to fully embrace this pregnancy once we announce to the world, which we still need to do.  Speaking of which, I present you with these:

 

Pictures we had taken last week are in!  We are ready to share our news, so I had some cards done up and will be mailing them to our family that we won't see or talk to in person and then announcing to the world next week!  I'm so excited and ready to shout it from the roof tops.

• How far along?  14 weeks. 

• How big is baby? about 3.5 inches, around the size of a lemon!

• Total weight gain: I seemed to have dropped a few lbs :)  Good by water weight!

• Maternity clothes? still no! I thought I would need to break out some maternity pants this week, or at least the bella band, but nope!  Still in regular pants.  My belly is starting to pop outward a little teeny bit, so we'll see how much longer this lasts!

• Stretch marks? No new ones.  (I have a few on my boobs from the boys, but that's it)

• Sleep: Sleeping well!  Still getting up a few times to pee before I actually fall asleep, but sleeping really good lately.

• Best moment this week:  Getting our awesome pictures and telling Nikolas he was going to be a big brother again.  He's SO excited and talks about the baby ALL.THE.TIME.  He came into my room 2 nights ago and handed me the doppler and said he wanted to hear the baby so we laid and listened to the baby's heartbeat for a few minutes.  Seeing the smile on his face brightened my world.  I love my kids. 

• Miss Anything? I'm going to say that it is Memorial Day Weekend at the Jersey Shore...I am going to miss beer in a BIG way this weekend, I may need Nick to pick me up some O'Douls or something, lol

• Movement: just some little taps here and there!

• Food cravings:ok, this week has been bad.  Soft serve vanilla ice cream cones.  From McDonalds.  I have had SEVERAL this past week.  I may or may not have even drove through the drive thru alone or with a sleeping toddler in the back seat on several occasions to get one.  It's bad.  I'm addicted I think.

• Food aversions: coffee...:::sigh:::

• Gender: July 2nd can't get here soon enough!

• Labor Signs: Not for quite some time!

• Symptoms: Pretty tired by mid-day but feeling good!

• Belly Button in or out? in!

• Wedding rings on or off? On :) they have a little room to play, hoping the swelling stays under control!

• Looking forward to: Sending out our announcements and sharing our news next week!

• Milestones/what's going on inside: Hell-ooo 2nd Trimester!!!  Baby can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck its thumb!  Thanks to brain impulses, facial muscles are getting a workout as its tiny features form one expression after another.  Kidneys are producing urine, which baby releases into the amniotic fluid around him/her — a process they'll keep up until birth
