- How big is baby? Almost a foot long and over a pound! About the size of a cantaloupe!
- Total weight gain:around 19-20 lbs total.
- Maternity clothes? yep, maternity pants, some maternity some regular shirts and regular sundresses.
- Stretch marks? No new ones. (I have a few on my boobs from the boys, but that's it)
- Sleep: going to sleep later than I have been, but sleeping pretty well.
- Best moment this week: watching "girl" move around like an alien trying to escape my belly!
- Miss Anything? breathing without someone pushing up into my upper abdomen
- Movement: she's moving around more and more!!! I feel her often and I'm so in love!
- Food cravings: italian ice, especially from Uncle Louie G's!
- Food aversions: anything acidic...the reflux has been HORRIBLE this week!
- Gender: GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Labor Signs: Not for quite some time!
- Symptoms: Super tired and indigestion like you wouldn't believe...
- Belly Button in or out? in still!
- Wedding rings on or off? On!
Although they are getting a little tight when my fingers get all
swollen and sausage-like from the insane heat we have been hit with.
- Looking forward to: shopping and decorating :)
- Milestones/what's going on inside: She's growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last
week. Her
lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" as well as
cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help her air sacs
inflate once she hits the outside world. Her skin is still thin and
translucent, but that will start to change soon. V-Day! At 24 weeks, now she's getting closer and closer to being ready to survive (and thrive!) in the outside world!
